Although all the retreats I have attended have been wonderful, this retreat really spoke to my heart. I learned that I was a Princess, the daughter of a King. Not only were we made to feel like the princess' that we are but our guest speaker was awesome. The spirit of God just flowed through her.
I encourage anyone who has ever thought about attending one of our retreats to join us next year in 2008, you want be disappointed. On these retreats we get to escape the reality of our world and experience the spirit filled reality of God's. We get to fellowship will truly wonderful and unique women. We learn from eachother, we cry with eachother. Sometimes barring eachothers burdens and sometimes because of the sheer overwhelming presence of God. These retreats bond us in ways that last a lifetime. Our free time is spent laughing and talking, some go shopping, some go to the movies and some gather in one room and play games. Young and old alike, we become like little children who's minds are like sponges soaking up knowledge and just hanging out with our friends.
I thank God for Pam and Jackie as they organize and lead these retreats. The music and the songs we sing are just as awesome as our leaders. We are free to worship and praise with our entire being.
The cost of these retreats can sometimes be expensive but worth every penny. This year we talked about a layaway plan where you can pay 10 or 15 dollars a month toward your retreat so if you would like to go next year please talk to Pam. It's an experience you will never forget.
